Vincent is a member of the Esketemc (Alkali Lake) Band. Prior to entering BladeRunners, Vincent was unemployed and struggling to find meaningful employment. Even though Vincent had participated in various certificate training programs, he lacked the job experience and transferable skills to be competitive in the workforce.

Vincent was one of the first individuals to apply to the Cariboo Chilcotin BladeRunners program. He completed an employment counselling interview where he had identified his interest in the construction trades. Vincent secured full-time permanent employment as an apprentice carpenter with Lake Point Development.
